Billfish Release Program

C.P.R. (Catch - Photograph - Release)

Van Wormer Resorts is proud to announce that starting on June 1, 2016, we will be starting a new Billfish Conservation program.  The program will be designed to promote the release of all billfish landed by the Van Wormer boat fleet.  Each month we will be raffling a grand prize of $500 to one boat crew.  In order to be eligible for this grand prize, crews must release all billfish during that month.

With a minimum $20 donation you will receive this limited addition C.P.R. Certified (Catch-Photograph-Release) t-shirt.  Wear this shirt with pride to show your support for Catch and Release.   100% of the profits will go to the grand prize raffle each month.  T-shirts are currently available only at the Hotel Palmas De Cortez and Playa Del Sol.  Inquire at the Fishing Office upon arrival.
