Hola Amigos,

 

It was another great week on the East Cape! The fishing really took off this week with lots of Tuna still coming in, with many boats catching limits each day. The big story has been the number of big dorado that have been landed. Everyday we are seeing a 40-60lbs. dorado hit the dock, which we hope will hold through next week for the Dorado Shoot Out. This week also saw a few nice wahoo, roosters, pargo, marlin and sailfish. If you are an angler that like to wait until the fishing is wide open before booking your trip to Van Wormer Resorts, well now is that time. This has definitely been the best week of the season so far and we hope that the rest of the summer will bring more of the same if not better.
