Fishing Report

Hola Amigos,

Well the 2023 fishing season is upon us and we are already having a great start.  The March, April bite for Yellow Tail, Dorado, Cabrilla, Snapper and Marlin were great on those not so windy days where we could actually get boats out.  Now that the winds are pretty much gone, the fishing season is ready to once again take center stage.  

We are starting to see lots of Dorado and Striped Marlin show up this month.  The fishing has been relatively close to the hotel with boats not having to make those lone 30 mile runs to get on the fish.  Just yesterday there was a beautiful 52 lbs. Wahoo landed on the Jukate fishing out of Hotel Palmas De Cortez.  That is early for wahoo to show up in the East Cape, so it maybe a good early bite this May.  

We are just over a week away from our first group of the year, The Reel News Amigos trip arriving on May 15th.  From that point on we will be hosting many more groups and anglers throughout the fishing season, which promises to be another wonderful season down here on the East Cape.  If you haven't made your plans yet to visit us this season, give us a call and set up your next East Cape vacation today.  We still have some great dates available in May July and September.  Call 877-777-8862 for info and reservations.  Ask about the Playa Del Sol summer specials being offered on select dates.
